India Releases Redmi Note 11T 5G

Xiaomi Redmi has launched its newest mobile phone, the Redmi Note 11T 5G for the global market. India became the first country to release this latest Redmi phone. The Redmi Note 11 5G series was previously released in its home country, China, at the end of last October. At that time, there were three models released, namely the “regular” version of the Redmi Note 11, the Redmi Note 11 Pro, and the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus.

Despite the different naming, the Redmi Note 11T in India is actually a rebranded phone from the Chinese version of the “regular” Redmi Note 11. Therefore, the looks and specifications of both are fairly the same.

Specifications :

The smartphone is attached with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD Plus resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) and supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz. At the top center of the screen, there is a punch hole with a 16 MP selfie camera. On the back, Redmi Note 11T is equipped with two rear cameras consisting of a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera.

The Redmi Note 11T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 (6 nm) chipset, the same chip used in the Chinese version of the regular Redmi Note 11. The chipset is combined with three RAM options and storage capacities, namely 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB.

To support smoother multitasking, users can expand RAM using the RAM expansion feature up to 3 GB, which mean user can enjoy up to 9 or 11 GB of RAM and is also supported by a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging 33W.

The Indian version of the Redmi Note 11T is also equipped with a MicroSD slot to expand storage capacity up to 1 TB. This microSD slot feature itself is absent on regular Redmi Note 11 phones in China. This phone runs the operating system (OS) Android 11 layered interface MIUI 12.5, also include 5G connectivity, fingerprint within the power button (side-mounted), 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB type C.

The smartphone comes in three colors including Matte Black, Stardust White, Aquamarine Blue, as compiled from Gadgets NDTV. In India, this phone will go on sale from December 7, 2021.
