HSMTMTS Renewed for Season 4 + Season 3 Release Date Announced

 

A release date for season 3 is finally here. But that’s not all, we’ve also received confirmation that Disney’s hit tv show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series has had an early renewal for season 4. What we know of season 4 is non-existent, but that doesn’t make the excitement any less. Season 3 on the other hand, has newly released information to share.

 

Set to be released on the 27th of July, fans still have a little wait before the big day. But in that time the High School Musical movies; Frozen; Beauty and the Beast; and HSMTMTS seasons 1 and 2 are available to watch on Disney+ for anyone wanting to re-familiarize themselves.

 

 

What we know of season three is still a little murky, but it has been announced that this coming season is taking place in a summer camp. Also no longer a mystery is the musical that the cast and characters are focussing on this season; Frozen. But that’s not all, there’s more exciting news; Corbin Bleu is a guest starting in season three, (as himself) and a promo has just been dropped, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.

 

What’s more, is the change in cast status. Suspected since the drama between leads Joshua Basset (Ricky) and Olivia Rodrigo (Nini) became public, the show runners recently let fans in on the change, moving Rodrigo from the main cast to supporting. How this will affect the plot of the show is hard to tell, though it’s likely that this will mean more screen time for fan favorite couple Gina and EJ.
