How to Create WhatsApp Auto Reply

The auto-reply feature is usually used on a WhatsApp Business account. This feature allows a person to get an instant reply when they text the person who uses this feature. Sellers that sell food, clothes or services are usually the ones who use it. You can still use the feature if you’re not a seller. For instance, when you’re busy with something and can’t reply instantly, this feature will let other people know by sending an auto reply to them. Some people, however, are still unsure on how to activate or use this feature.

Here are the steps to create an auto-reply message on WhatsApp:

 

STEP 1: Click Settings

Open the WhatsApp application and tap on the three dots on top of the app. Now, click Settings followed by Business Settings, and lastly Away Message.

STEP 2: Click “Send away message”

Now, click the toggle button next to the “Send away message”.

STEP 3: Edit the message

Tap on the message and enter the message you want to send to the people. Then, click OK.

STEP 4: Schedule your message

The next step is to schedule your message.

• Select “Always send” if you are not available for a long time.
• Choose “Custom schedule” if you want to send the automated message only at a specific time.
• “Outside of business hours” lets you send the automated message outside your business hours. You need to set the business hours in your business profile for this option.

STEP 5: Select the recipient

The final step is to select the recipient whom you want to send this message.

• Select “Everyone” to send the automated message to everyone who texts you after business hours.
• “Everyone not in address book” lets you send the automated message to numbers which are not in your contact list.
• “Everyone except” is to send the automated message to everyone except a few contacts.
• Choose “Only send to” if you want to send the automated message to selected contacts.

That’s it! Simple, isn’t it? Now, you don’t have to worry about slow-replying messages anymore 😉
