How does virtual reality change us?

Virtual reality produces a three-dimensional image through the use of computer technology, which gives it a reality-like experience. It was started back in 1985 by researchers in Silicon Valley, where they tried to explore the arena of virtual reality. Sooner, it was brought to public recognition in 1999 with the science fiction movie-‘The Matrix’. After that, the concept of virtual reality captured the interest of ordinary people, who loved the concept and found it entertaining. With the advent of time, virtual reality that was once used only in fiction has now taken life as a form.

Two of the greatest person who is famous being in the virtual reality industry was Clay Bavor and Galit Ariel.

Clay Bavor was a veteran Googler and Princeton computer science graduate. Clay Bavor is the Vice President of Virtual and Augmented Reality at Google. He previously led the product and design teams for many of Google’s consumer and enterprise applications-Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, and the Google Apps suite for businesses. He also has a history of working on Google Search and many of Google’s ad products. Today, Clay reports directly to Google CEO Sundar Pichai as he oversees the VR & AR teams. One of his biggest recent projects was his work on Google’s Visual Positioning System (VPS), a technology that utilizes AR to recognize features in the environment in order to navigate more efficiently.

While Galit Ariel was a famous TED speaker and author of Augmenting Alice: The Future of Identity, Experience, and Reality, Galit loved to explore the wild and imaginative side of immersive technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR). Furthermore, she enjoys learning and educating about the impact these technologies will have on our cultures, behaviors, and interactions.

Ariel is also the founder of WondARlands-Spatial Innovation Lab, a creative innovation company that helps businesses apply future technologies such as AI, AR, and VR to their organizations. Their mission is to assist companies in achieving new tech familiarities and immersive experiences and secure a strong grasp on the future of the digital landscape.

Virtual reality technology was first made for gaming to make it more intense and immersive. Then, it changed the way the education system works by using interactive audio and visual devices. The work-from-home boom has given several virtual reality (VR) companies incentives to experiment with new ways of trading. Virtual reality in communication makes users interact with each other even at a distance.

VR technology can treat phobias. For example, VR exposure therapy could reduce its participants’ fear of heights. Virtual reality is also a tool for raising awareness of social and environmental, physical, and mental issues such as abuse, pollution, neglect, or injustice. VR technology can put users in someone else’s shoes’ by allowing viewers to see directly through the eyes of a real or imagined subject more specifically.

Virtual reality can also change your worldview if you want to travel to new places for a refreshing change. Users will be able to tour the places without leaving their homes and relax in their selected place without moving.

Simply, virtual reality technology has made us able to see and feel everything from different angles. It is interactive yet worth its price. It let us become more innovative and do more and better than we used to be.
