Here are a few great viewpoints that make House of Cards worth watching :

1. The Story

A political thrill series based on the adaptation of 1989 novel of the same name by Michael Dobbs. It tells the story of Frank Underwood, a Democrat secretary of state. Beside with his wife Claire, they seek revenge on the people who betrayed him while successfully rising to supremacy.

2. The Main Character’s Personality

Everytime you see Frank Underwood, you see his brilliant charisma. A born leader, fine manipulator, and quality actor. He speaks with confidence, he answers with his mind, and he’s performing extraordinary tactics. Tremendous performance. It is a shame Kevin Spacey never won the Emmy as best actor in a drama series.

3. The Wife, Claire Underwood

Another highly interesting character. As the wife of Frank, Claire Underwood did equally important parts. Her charisma is beyond any measures too. She is brave, smart, and careful in her words. She supports most of Frank’s command, but she made up her own mind too.

4. Traitor Among Political Life

There is no ‘safe’ word in politic. This series will teach you the brutality of real life politic. You will be amazed how far it can really take you. Every action is fake, manipulative, and nothing comes for granted. See how Frank Underwood speaks to the mind of the U.S President. Elite conversation and quality dialogue too.

5. Influence From Small People

This series shows the importance of small people, especially those who helped you conducted the day to day tasks for you. They know more than you, and they knows the field well. One example is Doug Stamper, a loyalist for Mr Underwood. He is experienced, smart, despite often too naïve. See his interesting journey here.

6. Powerful Life

Ever imagined how life with power feels? Being on top of the world, as well as the one in charge of United States? Well take a look at this series, with shots taken inside the presidential plane, white house, church, conference rooms, etc. Not forgetting the security convoy everytime Frank Underwood travels.
