Honor Magic 4 Lite was officially announced on March 23, 2022.
In other markets, the recently released Honor Magic4 Lite is not a new phone. The gadget is also known as the Honor X30 and Honor X9 5G, with the former being the first to arrive in China in December. The gadget is a low-cost variant of the Magic4 series that adopts the looks of the other three flagship models – the standard Magic4, the Pro, and the Ultimate.

However, the design is the closest the Lite edition comes to its more capable counterparts. After all, the cheap Lite edition costs only €320 in Europe, so don’t expect the complex camera setups seen in the others. It’s also the only one with an LCD display.
The handset, though, may be a great bargain offer at its current price. It’s an LCD, but it’s a big one – 6.81″. It could be ideal for someone searching for a phone with a large display, and the 4,800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging looks interesting as well.

They also have the Snapdragon 695 SoC, which looks to be a popular choice in this price range and, as such, offers the Magic4 Lite a competitive option in terms of performance.
The camera setup falls short of the competition, coming out as a little too simple considering the lack of a proper secondary camera like an ultrawide or zoom. However, overall experience with affordable ultrawide cameras has been poor, so Honor missing the widely used 8MP ultrawide camera may not be a major loss.
Honor must re-establish itself in Western markets now that it is a separate company, despite some ongoing ties with Huawei.
