Hogwarts Legacy: What You Might Need To Know

The release date for the much anticipated Wizarding World game creeps closer. And in the lead-up to the final stretch, there are a couple of things you need to know before going into the game.

In the familiar wizarding world, but the unfamiliar time of the 1800s, Legacy introduces entirely new characters and plot lines that are as unfamiliar to fans as they are to those new to the franchise. Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest, and Hogwarts itself are available to explore, though no word has been said about Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic.

While not a story written by J.K Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, the mind behind the Wizarding World has been in communication with the studio behind the game. Players get to experience Hogwarts through their character in the RPG open-world game, learning magic and becoming a part of the wizarding society are key aspects of gameplay.

Your character has a late start at Hogwarts, beginning in their 5th year and coming face to face with, what sounds like three different factions. The light wizards, the goblin rebellion, and the dark wizards. A full plot is still unavailable as of yet.
