Halo-Halo and Mais Con Yelo desserts that will save your day.

If you are a person that wants to refresh and cool down in order to unwind, I have desserts to offer that you should try on. I know that each and everyone has comfort food that will save them in their stressful day but when you try these kinds of desserts, I hope that it will help you to cope on those hard days!

Halo-halo is a dessert from the Philippines that you must try. It is made up of shaved ice with a lot of ingredients like corn, macapuno, beans, langka, pinipig, ube, melon, milk, sugar, different fruits and yema. Sometimes, people add ice-cream and flan  on the top to give a more delightful taste. This dessert is not only famous in the Philippines but also there are some different tropical-weathered countries that make this kind of dessert as chill refreshments.

This dessert is also easy to make and eat at the same time. You just have to mix all the ingredients, and you are good to go. You can find it anywhere, most especially during the summertime. I hope you will give it a try  because halo-halo is very refreshing and will leave you a yummy, unforgettable taste!

Another cold dessert is called Mais con Yelo, a delicious summer treat that is perfect for everyone. It is made up from sweet corn, shaved ice, milk, and corn flakes cereal with sometimes, adding ice-cream on the top of it. There are many variations of this popular dessert but for me,  corn, milk, and shaved ice is enough. I can’t wait for you to try this and tell me what your experience about it.
