Hair Growth Made Easier

 

Growing your hair out is a long, annoying process that often ends up in getting bored and cutting it again. 

 

Long hair is timeless. It gives you the freedom to try different styles and new colors without the worry of losing all your hair from damage.

 

Maybe you have a haircut you don’t like or are sick of extensions, whatever the reason, give these tips a try! 

 

Rosemary Oil

Whilst there aren’t many scientific studies on rosemary oil for the promotion of hair growth, essential oils have been proven to protect against hair loss. However, lots of people report hair growth from rosemary oil including myself! 

 

Twice a week, I massage rosemary oil into my roots and leave it for about 30 minutes before washing it out. I also apply castor oil at the same time, as they have similar properties.

 

Inversion Method

The inversion method involves flipping your hair upside down and massaging your scalp for a few minutes to increase blood flow. 

 

This is similar to using rosemary oil, as oil can be used when massaging. However, the inversion method is done every day for one week. If done any more than this, the scalp gets used to the oils and it becomes less effective.

 

Choosing The Right Products

The products you use make a big difference to your hair. For example, overusing sulfates can strip the moisture from your hair. Drier hair is more prone to split-ends and breakage, which slows down hair growth! 

 

Lush is my favorite brand for hair care. They use lots of natural ingredients and I find my hair is softer and shinier. Whilst they can be more expensive, I think it’s worth the price.

 

Water also makes a big difference in how soft your hair is. If you live in a hard water area, it might be worth investing in a water softener system. This removes limescale buildup meaning the water is softer.
