It’s been a few years since the first foldable smartphone appeared. Some manufacturers, however, have yet to release a foldable smartphone.
One such manufacturer is Google. Many foldable smartphones have been released this year. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 are the most recent of these. The existence of a Google foldable smartphone, the Google Pixel Fold, has now been exposed by a new report.
Android 12 Beta 4 was recently released by Google. Developers discovered four gadgets designated Oriole, Raven, Passport, and Slider in the Android 12 Beta 4 Google Camera program. Google’s new Pixel 6 series, which will be released this fall, includes the Oriole and Raven. These handsets are compatible with the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
However, there are rumors that the “Passport” is a Google foldable smartphone in the works. The device’s name is expected to be Google Pixel Fold, according to rumors. Furthermore, there are rumors that Google’s foldable smartphone will be released this fall.
Google Pixel Fold and Google Pixel 6 series are said to be packed with Google’s own chip Tensor, while Google Pixel Fold will use the Google Pixel 6’s camera system. This indicates that the Google Pixel Fold will have excellent photographic capabilities. This isn’t entirely surprising, given Google’s reputation as a leader in smartphone camera optimization.
Google has since announced that the Pixel 6 will be released this fall. We don’t know if the Google Pixel Fold will be present at this event.
