1. Animal Jam
Animal Jam, now known as Animal Jam Classic is an MMO developed by WildWorks that was released back in September 9, 2010. What makes Animal Jam unique and addictive is that you get to pick different animals to be your avatar, customize your character with cosmetics, play mini-games with your friends, trade and collect items, and explore the world!
2. Moshi Monsters
Released in April 16, 2008 and developed by Mind Candy, Moshi Monsters is known for their cool and cute virtual pets. Although Moshi Monsters officially shut down on December 13, 2019 – it’s still a part of our hearts with the cute monster characters such as Katsuma, Diavlo, Luvli, and Furi (if you still remember).
Poptropica is one of those popular online games that everyone in your school played. Developed in 2007 by Pearson Education’s Family Education Network and the Jeff Kinney Group, Poptropica is an addictive game where you get to travel to different worlds and solve problems each island is going through by completing puzzles, platform obstacle courses, collecting items and talking to NPCs.
4. Club Penguin
Club Penguin was released on October 24, 2005, developed by RocketSnail Games, Disney Canada Inc., and Disney Interactive Studios where you get to play as penguins. You can meet up with friends and chill with them in different places, or do fun activities. Unfortunately, Club Penguin shut down on March 30, 2017.
