Okay, this is a no-brainer. Everything that you usually eat at breakfast is perfect with coffee. Toast, French Toast, Scrambled egg with sausages, bagels with cream cheese, salmon, and/ avocado, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, quiche, every pastry you can think of, etc. Cappuccino and cafè au lait, in particular, are ideal for these breakfast items.
2. Dark Chocolate
Dark chocolate is a fantastic coffee partner because of its rich, deep taste that suits dark roasts. The rich chocolate flavour complements the bitter elements in the coffee to create a delectable treat. There’s no reason not to treat yourself to a couple of squares of your favourite dark chocolate when you sit down for a cup of coffee. Make it better by melting a square into your hot coffee for a fast and excellent addition.
Tarts are sweet but somewhat bitter delicacies that are ideal for individuals who love a sour flavour. They go nicely with coffee because the sweet-bitter tastes bring out the powerful tones in the coffee. Berry tarts like blackcurrant, strawberry, and blackberry go so well with coffee, and traces of these fruits notes may also be found in coffee blends.
4. Grilled Cheese Sandwich
The grilled cheese sandwich is a food that goes unnoticed. A couple of toasted bread with melted cheese sandwiched in between them complements a strong cup of coffee so well. Oh, grill the sandwich with the leftover bacon grease if you decide to place any kind of bacon in the sandwich.
