EXO’s Suho Will Be Back With A Solo Album Next Month

EXO’s Suho will make a solo comeback with a new album next month!

SM Entertainment has confirmed that EXO’s Suho latest solo album will release next month. “Suho is preparing a solo album with a comeback in April. Please show some support,” said SM Entertainment as reported by My Daily via Naver, on Thursday (March 10).

The response was given shortly after media outlet News1 reported that EXO’s leader Suho will release his second solo album in April 2022. In 2020, EXO’s Suho released his first mini solo album “Self-Portrait” and successfully achieved double crown on the Gaon chart. Through the track  “Let’s Love”, Suho tells the courage to love even though the feeling is difficult to express. The lyrics of the song contain emotions and Suho’s eight-year experience as an idol.

The “Self-Portrait” album tells the biography of Suho and was released eight years after he debuted in the South Korean music industry through the boy group EXO.  He admitted that he was very excited, but also depressed ahead of the release of his first album. Suho was involved in writing the lyrics for six songs on the album, such as “Let’s Love”, which is said to have been inspired by a painting by Vincent Van Gogh.

Recently, EXO’s Suho has just completed his military service. He wrote a letter to fans and expressed his longing for them. He admitted that the military service process was a meaningful time for him to think more about his fans. EXO’s Suho officially started his military service two years ago, on May 14, 2020. He became the third member of EXO to serve in the military service.
