EXO’s Sehun is reportedly in talks to star in the new TVING-original high school romance drama ‘Love, Hara High School’ as the lead role.
The news was first reported by local media on Thursday (March 24). In response to the report, SM Entertainment confirmed, “It’s true that Sehun will be playing Go Yoo, the main character of TVING’s original drama, ‘Love, Hara High School’” said SM Entertainment as reported by Star-News via Naver.
The drama tells Go Yoo which is an 18-year-old teenager and a second-year student at Hara High School. Go Yoo is getting taller every day and is often praised as a basketball genius. He is also a charming student who at least gets average results in school despite not studying.
Go Yoo is also too busy to date. He’s busy protecting Joon Hee. However, they end up fighting for love after Go Yoo donates a kidney to Joon Hee. They compete for the heart of the school’s number 1 student, So Yeon.
Love, Hara High School is referred to as a drama that depicts solid friendship and a sincere love story of 18-8-year-old teenagers who can’t let go of love or friendship. The drama will also address the unique subject of cellular memory with the hypothesis that memory can be transferred to organ transplant recipients.
‘Love, Hara High School’ will be Sehun EXO’s newest drama after starring in ‘Now We Are Breaking Up’. Previously, he also starred in ‘EXO Next Door’ (2015) and ‘Dokgo Rewind’ (2018).
Recently, the youngest member of EXO also debuted on the big screen through the film ‘The Pirates: Goblin Flag’.
‘Love, Hara High School’ is penned by Kang Bo-ra and directed by Kim Jin-sung (The Great Queen Seondeok, Kangchi the Beginning). The drama will begin filming in April and premiere this year via TVING.
