Exo’s D.O. In Talks To Play The Lead In a New Drama

According to reports, which surfaced on August 13th, D.O. a member of EXO, is in talks to star in a new Korean television series. In response, his management company, SM Entertainment reportedly confirmed in a statement, “D.O. has received an offer to star in an upcoming drama ‘True Swordsmanship’ and is now “positively reviewing it.” 

The drama is about a prosecutor who seeks justice for victims while also fighting corruption in his organization and country. According to reports, the Korean singer-actor would play Jin Jung, a prosecutor. If confirmed, this will be D.O.’s first acting role since his military discharge in January 2021.

His performance in numerous productions, such as in the drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love” and in the film “Swing Kids,” has earned him quite a following. He’s currently filming “The Moon,” and he just released his first solo album, “Empathy,” which includes the title single “Rose” which has gained worldwide critical acclaim.

He also appeared in Pure Love (2016), My Annoying Brother (2016), Positive Physique (2016), Room No.7 (2017), 100 Days My Prince (2018), Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds, and Swing Kids (2018).
