Exhausted, Indonesia’s Deputy Minister Of Tourism And Creative Economy Fainted At The Solo Palace Event

Saturday (06/11) it was reported that the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, Angela Tanoesoedibjo fainted while attending an event at the Solo Palace. Angela attended the launching of the cultural attraction of the Surakarta Palace warriors in front of the Kori Kemandungan Palace, last Saturday afternoon (Detik, 2021).

 

Angela reportedly looked unsteady and staggered down when Penganggeng Parentah Palace, KGPH Dipokusumo gave a speech. Previously, Angela had also given a speech at the event. Angela, who was unconscious, was carried by the committee and her staff.

Deputy of Development of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Rizki Handayani explained that Angela might be tired because she had to attend activities in the Karanganyar area (Detik, 2021). To reporters, Rizki said,

 

“She seems tired. We were also from Rumah Atsiri in Tawangmangu, Karanganyar. But it was also fine,” Rizki then added that recently Angela was quite busy and attended many activities. Reporters at the event reported that after receiving help and regaining consciousness, Angela was able to get into the car. There was no further information by the committee or the Ministry regarding where Angela was after that.
