‘Euphoria’ Adds New Cast Members Ahead of Season 2

All of the cast members from Season 1 are not expected to return, however, there will be some new additions to the cast.

With news of the original cast members’ unexpected departure, Euphoria added an impressive array of new members to its cast.

Actors Dominic Fike, Minka Kelly, and Demetrius ‘Lil Meech’ Flenory Jr. were the first arrivals of the newcomers to join in 2022. They will be joining the cast for the show’s second season, which is expected to premiere either later this year or in early 2022. HBO adds that all of the recently added characters will likely be recurring.

 

Per HBO’s official announcement, Dominic described his role as a “homie” who spends time with Rue (Zendaya) and Jules (Hunter Schafer), and added that both actors are “the loveliest people ever.” The 25-year-first old’s acting part is in Euphoria; he is most known for his music and characterized filming the HBO series as “a lengthy music video.”

 

The first season of the show was a resounding success. However, Like many other television shows and movies, Euphoria’s second season was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Production for the series was put on hold in March 2020, and it was subsequently revived with two special “bridge” episodes.

 

Euphoria is keeping storyline clues under wraps as usual, but these fresh announcements bring us one step closer to the much-anticipated premiere.
