Ever since Elden Ring’s reveal in E3 almost three years ago in 2019, its slowly nearing its grand launch on February 25, 2022.
For those who are not up to date with the upcoming game, Elden Ring is an action RPG (Role-Playing Game) developed by the same company as Dark Souls; FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Elden Ring features an open world gameplay where players will traverse through The Lands Between with a dynamic environment such as day-and-night cycles for immersion.
How to play Elden Ring?
The world is split into six main zones where players can stumble upon bosses, explore underground dungeons, and discover uncharted land. Other game features include the ability to ride and summon mounts, ride them through harsh environments and attack from them as well, making quick mobility and interesting gameplay.
In Elden Ring, players get to build their own Tarnished – the people who were banned from The Lands Between and begin their quest in searching for glory to become the Elden Lord after the great war. The world-building in Elden Ring can be highly anticipated as the lore and visuals are the result from the collaboration with George R. R. Martin, author of popular HBO drama TV series ‘Game of Thrones’.
Players can anticipate complex dark and mature stories, origins, lores, and characters from this game. Elden Ring is available for pre-purchase on Steam, and will be available on consoles such as PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
