‘Dune 2’ to feature Zendaya’s ‘Chani’ as the Main Character

‘Dune 2’ plans to take a bit of a detour from the first movie which has yet to premiere as of now. Zendaya, starring next to Timothee Chalamet as ‘Paul Atreides’, has gotten fans excited for the newest reboot of the movie. Based on the novel, Dune has gotten a lot of uproar about the top-tier cast bringing a new look to the sci-fi classic. 

The plan to give the character ‘Chani’ more agency and time to grow as a character just might be the exact spin that this reboot will need to separate itself from the former movies. 

Timothee Chalamet’s role is claimed to have received more screen time in the first film because it tells the story through the eyes of the primary character of the Dune novel, ‘Paul Atreides.’ Fans were dismayed when it was revealed that Zendaya will have minimal screen time or plot lines in the first film. However, with this news of a possible bigger role for the former Disney star, there is a building buzz surrounding the premiere of this movie. 

Zendaya’s role in the first film is supposed to have a restricted role in terms of screen time. The speculation on where the character plans to go according to director, Villenueve, has yet to be fully discovered. Now, fans of Zendaya are certain to be happy that their favorite all-star action is getting some more feature time on this major project.
