Dota 2: TI10 Main Event Day 5 Results

HYPE! With one more day of the TI10 Main Event left, Day 5 was nothing but amazing.

We’re getting closer to the Grand Finals and the games are exciting as ever. For the fourth round of the Lower Bracket, we saw Invictus Gaming beat Vici Gaming 2-0. In both games, it was a close fight, but Vici Gaming just couldn’t stop Emo’s Ember Spirit and flyfly’s Spectre from doing whatever they wanted.

Next, we had the Upper Bracket Final between Team Secret and PSG.LGD. Many fans were hoping for a Team Secret vs Team Spirit Grand Finals, (TS vs TS, get it?) but that dream was swiftly cut down by PSG.LGD. This team has been dominating the whole tournament, and is showing no signs of slowing down. They still maintain their (almost) perfect record up until now. PSG.LGD secured their spot in the Grand Finals with a 2-0 victory, giving Team Secret the extra obstacle of battling in the Lower Bracket Finals if they want to have their hands on the Aegis of Champions.

We then watched Round 5 of the Lower Bracket, with Team Spirit vs Invictus Gaming. With the momentum of beating the previous king, OG, still going strong, Team Spirit showed that they do not plan on letting anyone stop them. Today’s games display only 2-0 dominations, and this game is no different. Team Spirit’s Yatoro paves the way with a wonderful display of skill in both games.

All-Star Match

With the hype at an all time high, we took a small break from the competitive side of things, and continued with TI’s annual tradition, the All-Star Match. In today’s All-Star match, we got to see Team Dragon (consisting of the English broadcasters) and Team Thunderhide (consisting of the Russian broadcasters). This year’s theme: All-Random Deathmatch, where the players will switch heroes after every death. As it always is with All-Star games, this one was very entertaining to watch.

Tomorrow, we will finally see who will be crowned the new champions of Dota 2. Which game are you most excited for? What was your favorite moment from TI10 Main Event Day 5?
