Demon Slayer Season 2: Teases a return on October, official premiere will be on December

Demon Slayer, one of the generation’s favourite anime, returns with a new season of adventure and fantasy on October 10th, 2021, which will include a seven-episode recap of the Mugen Train movie, as well as an official release in December that can be streamed on Funimation.

Season 2 of Demon Slayer will be released in three months, and you can choose to watch the Mugen Train movie or the seven-episode recap. The season 2 will adopt the “Entertainment district” in Manga.

Season 1 ended when Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke was called to their first major assignment as part of the Demon Slayer Corps. Rengoku, Elite Demon Slayer Swordman of Hashira guides the trio which includes Nezuko, Tanjiro’s sister turned-demon. In this season, the story revolves with Tanjiro and company’s attempt to take down the Lower one of the Twelve moons, which led by a Demonic group of a Demon and Slayer of Tanjiro’s Family – Muzan Kibutsuji.

As shown in the trailer of season 2, the group can be seen heading to Yoshiwara, a town with bright lights and desires. Fertile ground for demons and with the Sound Hoshira (Tengen Uzui). It is focused to the trace of the Demon Slayer Corps’ in the Entertainment district in Yoshiwara. Inosuke is seen being away in one scene with Hashira.

Aside from it, secondary characters will be back such as Natuski Hanae (Tanjiro), Akari Kito (Nezuko), Hiro Shimona (Zeinitsu) and Yoshitsuga Matusoka (Inosuke) as well as Tengen Uzui and Shinobo.
