Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc Has Begun!

In order to find his lost wife, Sound Hashira, Tengen Usui, together with Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira are going on a mission to Yoshiwara where the rumors of demons are investigated.

Mugen Train Arc, the previous arc, is about Fire Hashira. It includes Kyojuro Rengoku’s story and his past, along with his death by a demon named Akaza. After Mugen Train Arc, Tanjiro continues his journey in Demon Slayer Corps to help Tengen find his wife who is rumored to be kidnapped by a demon. Fans have been waiting for this arc to be animated which will tell the story of Sound Hashira, Tengen Usui.

The Mugen Train Arc has been made into a movie that was released in October last year. It is about Tanjiro and the gang with Rengoku pursuing a rumored demon who boards the Mugen Train. The unrevealed part of the Mugen Train Arc has been added to the original anime series of Demon Slayer with the same title. Now, the series has just entered a new arc namely Entertainment District Arc. The arc was premiered last weekend.

Demon Slayer or in Japanese, Kimetsu no Yaiba is adapted from a manga series written and illustrated by Kyoharu Gotouge. The first chapter of Kimetsu no Yaiba manga was released in February 2016 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and ended with chapter 205 that was released in May 2020 with a total volume of 23. The first season of the Demon Slayer anime television series was aired on April 6th, 2019. It has 24 episodes. The series can now be streamed on Netflix.

Demon Slayer follows a teenager, Tanjiro Kamado, who wants to turn his demon sister, Nezuko, back to a human. In order to find a way to turn back his sister, Tanjiro joined the Demon Slayer Corps and went on numerous missions to defeat various levels of demons.
