GTA: Trilogy is an upcoming release of GTA games that will be released digitally on 11th November and physically on 7th December this year. The GTA games that are included in the trilogy are the first three 3D GTA games: GTA: III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas. The trilogy offers enhanced visual, control, and gameplay.
A Reddit user spotted something in the latest GTA: Trilogy trailer. In the Reddit post, comparing the screenshot of GTA: Vice City original release and the trilogy edition, the Confederate flag on the shirt of Phil Cassidy, one of GTA: Vice City character is replaced by a picture of skull in upcoming GTA: Trilogy.
There is no official statement over the reason of flag removal yet, but apparently Rockstar Games is aware of being cancelled someday if the Confederate flag still exist in the trilogy. The Confederate flag is apparently to be banished from existence in upcoming release of GTA: Trilogy.
A Reddit user commented with disagreement over the flag removal, because the use of Confederate flag portrayed what punks used to wear back in the day.
Honestly I think they should have left it in your going to see a******s wear it in the real world so why wouldn’t a******s wear it in a game set in the 80’s
