“Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” Airing on December 18!

Netflix has again released a K-Drama that can accompany your weekend. The drama titled “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” will start airing on December 18, 2021, at 21:00 KST on the television channel tvN.

Carrying the drama, fantasy, and supernatural genres, the screenplay for this drama series was written by writers Kwon So Ra and Seo Jae Won. In addition, this drama will also be directed by Jang Young Woo.

This “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” will be star-studded. Lee Jin Wook will play the main character in this new drama, opposite Kwon Na Ra as the female lead. Besides them, there are also Lee Joon and Gong Seung Yeon. Jung Jin Young, Park Myung Shin, and many more will enliven this fantasy drama about immortal beings.

Synopsis

This drama will tell the story of an immortal being called the Bulgasal who chases women for 600 years. Dan Hwal’s character, played by Lee Jin Wook, is said that he was initially a military officer. He was on a mission to eliminate the remnants of the previous dynasty’s existence. Unfortunately, in the middle of the mission, he turns into a bulgasal, a mythological creature who eats human blood cursed to live eternally.

Meanwhile, Kwon Na Ra plays a native character who gets the opportunity to be reincarnated as a human. During these 600 years, he had been reincarnated many times and still recalled all the memories from his previous life. However, he hides his identity and plans to take revenge due to a tragic incident.

Besides the two of them, it turns out that there is another bulgasal creature (Lee Joon) who is disguised among humans. He used his eternal life to prosper among men. He so enjoyed the power and wealth he had acquired over hundreds of years that he could control politicians, media, and business people.

Even though Dan Hwal is busy looking for a woman who is the reincarnation of the bulgassal earlier, he turned out to have been married 600 years ago. In fact, his wife, Dan Sol (Gong Seung Yoon), comes from a reasonably influential family.
