BTS’ new album, ‘Proof’ will be released on June 10th, 2022. The new album was first announced on the last day of the Permission to Dance on Stage concert in Las Vegas on April 16. Since then, there was no announcement regarding the album.
Finally, on May 5 at midnight KST, BIGHIT Music unveiled the album name and announced that the pre-order of the album will start on May 5 at 11 a.m. KST.
‘Proof’ is an anthology album that embodies the history of BTS for the past nine years in the music industry. The album will consist of three CDs including many different tracks and three new tracks that reflect the idea and thoughts of the member in the past, present, and future of BTS.
The album reveals started with a Youtube video Livestream titled ‘0612091102120820…. 0610’ on the BANGTANTV channel.

Before the Livestream, BTS ARMYs has been speculating about the title meaning. The code has been successfully decoded. It was the date of each BTS album release from debut until their upcoming album on 0610. The Livestream showed BTS’ discography, starting from their debut album ‘2 Cool 4 Skool’ until their latest release, ‘Permission to Dance’ single. The video ended with the unveiling of the ‘Proof’ logo.
