This July 31st, Billie Eilish will be making her Live Launge debut on BBC Radio 1.
Billie’s guesting is 2 years in the making. Her first guesting at Radio 1 was way back 2019 where she sang her hit singles ‘Ocean Eyes’, ‘I don’t wanna be you anymore’ and more. That was during her uprising in the music scene, and now that she’s an accomplished singer, there’s no reason not to come back at Radio 1.
The pop sensation recently released a single called ‘Power’. Singing about her opinion and advocacies towards the government and current matters in America. It was a revolutionary phase for Billie as she have never been so vocal about politics or social issues until now. She is now using her talent and platform for something that she thinks matters, and way more bigger than just dope music. ‘Power’ would be a part of Billie’s upcoming album entitled ‘Happier Than Ever’ that is coming out on July 30th.
In an interview, the singer shared insights about her new album saying that “There was so much self-reflection in the making of this album…” showing how personal this project is for her. Adding that she “actually feel more confident in my craft now…” “and this album was made at the perfect time.”
Hr brother Finneas will once again be the producer for this album. Finneas was also the producer of Billie’s first album called ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’.
Billie will be headlining a show on BBC One and BBC iPlayer called ‘Billie Eilish: Up Close’ that will be hosted by Clara Arnfo that will also come out on Saturday, July 31st at 10:30pm.
