Being sweaty and having a red face is never fun, especially on a hot day. Try to picture this, you drink a cold beverage, you can taste the flavor instantly as soon as the liquid runs through your tongue, then travels downwards to your throat, that cold sensation is just what you need to refresh yourself and get through the day. These beverages below can either be alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

1. Iced Tea

Plain iced tea can never go wrong, it’s simple, clean, and makes you all refreshed inside. However, you can add another ingredient such as fruits. Using fruits as a complementary ingredient is a very common practice in pairing it with tea, to add more kick to the taste. with fruits like raspberry, pineapple, strawberry, cranberry, and lemon. If you just want a hint of something else you can add hibiscus, mint, or honey.

2. Soda

Though it’s not good for you (except if you want to get rid of nausea), that fizz you feel can wake you right up and get rid of any hot sensations. No need to call any brands because you already know.

3. Anything that Includes Fruit

Even though everything on the list can be added with fruit, there’s a lot more variety of drinks that goes so well with fruits. Slushy is always acceptable but be careful for the brain freeze effect that you’ll get. Mocktails and cocktails are always fun and full of twists, spritzers are simple but pack a punch.

4. Coconut Water

You don’t even need to add anything, and it’ll still be delicious. Coconut water is a natural, rich electrolyte beverage that can boost your heart, blood sugar, kidney function and keep you refreshed and hydrated.

5. Lemonade

Perfection. What more could you possibly want? Sweetness, check. Tang or zing, check. Added the hint of bitterness for a nice finishing touch. You won’t even mind the hot weather when you have a glass of lemonade in your hand.
