Band spontaneously performed at Wendy’s Drive-Thru

Two musicians reportedly invaded a Wendy’s drive-thru, preventing customers from ordering so a friend could leave work on time. Customers who were hungry did not go home empty-handed, as they were treated to a free concert from the comfort of their cars.

Entering a restaurant minutes before it closes is a sin since the staff is forced to stay late and serve you for little or no additional money. The same law applies to drive-thrus: regardless of closing time, fast food personnel must provide service as long as there are cars in line. That’s not cool!

People arriving exactly as the restaurant is ready to close is one of the most common complaints of those who work in the food industry. Fortunately for one Wendy’s employee, his pal is the drummer of a metal band in need of a gig. That’s how the Wendy’s drive-thru show ended up with Vella La Vella performing on a truck bed in the drive-thru, preventing other customers’ access to the speaker box.

“WE HAVE CLAIMED WENDYS! NOW LISTEN TO METAL AND EAT BURGERS,” Vella la Vella write on Instagram. They also shared their video on TikTok that’s generating hundreds and thousands of views.

Wendy’s was able to close on time because of the performance, according to Metal Injection. Videos of Vella La Vella performing at Wendy’s have gone popular since being shared online. Hopefully, their next performance will take place in a more stunning setting.
