Atari to Launch Thousands of Unreleased Games on Cartridges

Good news for retro-game collectors, Atari is about to launch thousands of unreleased games from the 1970s and 1980s on cartridge!

According to Atari XP website, Atari XP name is a tribute to Atari’s previous Atari Exchange Program, a 1970s-1980s program which sold software through mail order catalog.

All of the cartridges are made in the US with high-quality materials and limited-edition versions will include premium packaging.

The program starts with the release of Aquaventure, Saboteur, and Yar’s ReturnThe number of games released will be extended

The order is expected to arrive no later than December 24th.

Alas, at this time the cartridges are only available for sale for customers who are residing in the United States. However, international direct sales will be available later.
