Anker 376 the smallest 100 watt powered charger
Electronic accessories supplier Anker has officially announced its latest charger, the Anker 736. The device is said to be a 100W (W) gallium nitride (GaN) and it will be a charger in the world’s smallest package size.
Unfortunately, the dimensions of the device body are not explained in detail. However, according to a report by Gizmochina, the Anker 736 charger is smaller than other large-power chargers, including when compared to the 65-watt fast chargers on the market today.
Anker 376 is powered with 100 Watt power; able to charge most laptops at a relatively short rate. This device is also equipped with 3 ports consisting of 2 USB Type-C ports and Type A port.
This charger also uses 3rd generation Anker PowerIQ 3.0 technology to optimize charging. It also supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 PPS, a power programming standard.
This support makes the Anker 736 charger compatible with other standard fast charging accessories such as Qualcomm Quick Charge, Apple Fast Charging or Samsung Fast Charging.
What’s differentiate it with other 100W charger?
With only one device connected, that this device will shown its full capabilities. If more than one device is connected to the charger, the amount of power supplied; is automatically divided according to the number of installed devices.
Anker has once again applied second-generation GaN II, a technology it claims to deliver up to 20% faster performance in its manufacturing process. Anker also boasts that GaN II technology can reduce heat generation during charging.
GaN II technology itself is not a relatively new innovation. The 30W, 45W and 65W Nano II charger; is previously built before the 100W versions
At the Consumer Technology Association (CES) 2022; Anker announced that the 100W Anker 736 Nano II will go on sale in March 2022. Later, the Anker 736 itself will replace the Anker 735 Nano II 65W. These have a slimmer design and tend to be longer without collapsible end caps.
