Aniplex to make ‘Atelier Ryza-Queen of Eternal Darkness and the Secret Hideout’ TV animation in the summer of 2023 | gamebiz

On this day (March 19), Aniplex announced that Koei Tecmo Games’ “Atelier Ryza ~Eternal Darkness and the Secret Hideout~” will be made into a TV animation in the summer of 2023. In addition to cast visuals, event information for AnimeJapan2023 has been released.

　

■ About “Atelier Ryza”

“Atelier Ryza ~Queen of Eternal Darkness and the Secret Hideout~” is an RPG work released by Koei Tecmo Games. The “Atelier” series, in which various items are synthesized using alchemy as a theme, has become a popular series with a history of more than 25 years, starting with “Atelier Marie ~The Alchemist of Salburg~” released in 1997. The latest work, “Atelier Ryza 3 ~The End Alchemist and the Secret Key~” is scheduled to be released on March 23, 2023. (Steam version will be released on March 24th)

　

New information 1: Animation decision! Promo video unveiled! Produced by Leiden Films! The same cast as the original!

This time, it has been announced that “Atelier Ryza ~Eternal Darkness and the Secret Hideout~” will be made into a TV anime. In the promotional video released along with the release of the information, the main character Liza and other main characters are drawn by Leiden Films, which is in charge of animation production for this work. The director is Ema Yuzuriha, and the character designer is Tomoyuki Shitaya (“Shokugeki no Soma” character designer). It was also announced that Yashichiro Takahashi, who worked on the original scenario, will be in charge of the series composition, and Kazuki Yanagawa will be in charge of the music as well.

The cast includes Yuri Noguchi (role of Reisalin Stout), Hitomi Owada (role of Claudia Barents), Takuma Terashima (role of Rent Marslink), Yui Kondo (Tao Mongarten), and Hiroshi Nojima ( Ampel Volmer) and Haruka Terui (Lila Desius) take over from the original work. The TV anime release is scheduled for the summer of 2023.

New information 3: Cast visual interview video by Yuri Noguchi released!

To commemorate the anime adaptation, a new cast visual of Yuri Guchi, who plays the main character Liza, has also been released. In addition to her solo cut with Ryza’s item “Grim Quartz”, the first interview video has also been released. In addition to celebrating the release of the game, a total of 6 main cast members were announced at the stage event commemorating the decision to make it into an anime. Lazenboden village on Keuken Island surrounded by lakes. In this village on the outskirts of the Rotesvassa Kingdom, time passes peacefully. Liza, a girl who is characterized by being ordinary and uncharacteristic, has lost her vitality in a village where there is little stimulation. “Oh, I wonder if there’s anything interesting.” Liza, who was dissatisfied with herself as an “ordinary farmer’s daughter” living in a cramped and boring village, one day met her childhood friends, Lent and Tao. I secretly board a small boat and go on my first adventure to the other side of the island. There she meets a man who uses a mysterious power called “alchemy”. Fascinated by her power, Ryza begs her to teach her alchemy. She went from being a “no-nonsense farmer’s daughter” to being an “alchemist”. Their own “summer adventure”, which is different from the play so far, begins. The popular “Atelier Ryza” from the “Atelier” series, which celebrated its 25th anniversary, has finally been made into an anime!
