Angelina Jolie’s Daughter Upcycled Her Mom’s Dress At The “Eternals” Premiere

Angelina Jolie has always had a close relationship with her children, whom she shares with her ex-husband Brad Pitt. The two have been locked in a court battle regarding custody of the kids since the actress filed for divorce in 2016. Their divorce was finalized in 2019.

 

She was joined on the red carpet for her film Eternals by her children Maddox, 20, twins Vivienne and Knox, 13, Zahara, 16, and Shiloh,15. Her new look for the evening was every bit as impressive as what her kids chose. Jolie’s children have first dibs when it comes to her vintage fashions.

 

It was 16-year-old Zahara who stole the show, glittering in Jolie’s silver Elie Saab haute couture that the actress wore to the 2014 Academy Awards. Meanwhile, Shiloh sporting a modified version of the Gabriela Hearst poplin slip, the “Quillaume” dress the star wore back in July at Guerlain’s “Women for Bees” initiative event, the girls showcased the versatility of the runway looks.

 

The actress told Entertainment Tonight that the family wore some classics for the event, including Zahara, who donned her mother’s silver 2014 Academy Awards gown.

 

“My kids are all mixed with vintage, and in my old Oscars dress,” Jolie said. “We did all vintage and upcycled my old stuff.”

 

Jolie, herself, looked fabulous in Olivier Rouseteing’s Balmain Resort 2022 collection featuring an olive-drab draped corset top and a flowing train. Stylist Jason Bolden accessorized the ensemble with vintage golden bangles from Tiffany & Co. and the unexpected addition of a gilded cuff that hugged Jolie’s lower lip and chin.

 

Eternals opens in theatres on November 5. It is a Marvel film directed by Oscar-winning director Chloé Zhao and also stars Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Kumail Nanjiani.
