Alice In Borderland: Season 2 Releasing This Year End

 

It’s official another season is on the way. Netflix is gearing up for bringing the series back into action.

 

Alice in Borderland first premiered on Netflix back on December 10, 2020. Netflix quickly renewed the hit Japanese series for Season 2. By the end of Season 1, it became one of the most popular Japanese shows on Netflix. And since then, fans have been waiting eagerly for the second season to be released.

 

In April, Netflix also confirmed the cast for Alice in Borderland Season 2. Starring Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Nijiro Murakami, Ayaka Miyoshi, Dori Sakurada, Aya Asahina, Yutaro Watanabe, Tsuyoshi Abe, Sho Aoyagi and Riisa Naka. They will be announcing rest of the cast members closer to the release date.

 

Two years seems like forever between new seasons of Alice in Borderland, especially with Netflix renewing the series for the second season two weeks after the premiere of the first season. It took a long because of production delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. So, it makes sense why it took the cast and crew so long to make the second season.

 

Alice in Borderland is a Japanese science-fiction-thriller-drama streaming television series. It is based on the manga of the same name by Haro Aso. Shinsuke Sato directed Alice in Borderland.

 

An aimless gamer and his two friends one day find themselves in a parallel Tokyo city. They must play and survive in a series of sadistic games. One can identify or learn about the game determined by playing cards. If one survives by playing games they will receive visas. In order to extend visas, players need to play. Once the visa expires, the individuals will be executed by red lasers being shot from the sky.
