At San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios made an announcement by revealing two upcoming Avengers films. Both will occur during Phase 6 of the MCU, which marks the end of the Multiverse Saga.
On May 2, 2025, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will be released, with Avengers: Secret Wars following on November 7, 2025.
But the name of the director of these two next Avengers movies remains a significant open question.
It was rumored that a Secret Wars adaptation would be overseen by the Russo brothers, who are known for directing the two most recent Avengers films, Infinity War and Endgame. But recently, such reports have been debunked, prompting worries about who might be the director.
Shang-Chi has distinguished itself as one of the best entries of the post-Endgame era, despite the fact that Phase Four has received fewer favorable reviews than previous phases.
Simu Liu, a rookie to the MCU, received praise for his performance as the movie’s title character, while the action sequences were lauded as some of the greatest in its history.
Cretton was originally scheduled to make a comeback in the unannounced Shang-Chi sequel.
However, given his role in the Kang Empire, it’s probable that Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings will reappear before the next Avengers film.
Marvel fans should, at the very least, have high hopes that Cretton’s spectacular action will return in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
We don’t know what could happen in the next two Marvel Avengers movie. Whereas each of these films contains surprises that we will only learn about when they are released.
That is why, even if it is a long way off, we will continue to support it and keep an eye out for the upcoming films that were recently revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con.
