A protagonist in Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact surprised fans with a future free playable character recognizable to many PlayStation players with the release of its 2.0 updates.

Aloy will join the Breath of the Wild-style gacha game as an exclusive 5-star character at Genshin Impact’s forthcoming “Savior From Another World” event. She holds a bow and has been labeled a Cryo-user, which means she’ll be able to perform a number of ice-based skills not seen in her previous series.

When the Genshin Impact 2.1 update lands on October 13, our PlayStation buddies will have her a month early. On November 24, or when Version 2.2 is released, PC players will be able to get their hands on her. She’ll be available on PlayStation until the start of 2.2, while PC gamers will be able to get her until the start of the 2.3 update’s maintenance, which is expected to be sometime in December or January. She won’t be available after that, so be sure to log on and get her while she’s still available. If you have access to the PlayStation platform, GamesRadar reports that you can sneakily use the new PlayStation cross-save feature to play her on PC early.

Since its release in 2020 by Chinese developer miHoYo, Genshin Impact has been a tremendous hit. In that time, it’s become one of the most popular mobile games, raking in an estimated $6 million per day from players hoping for rare drops from its pseudo-gambling gacha system in its first two months.
