7 Years with Red Velvet, Awaited Comeback Approaches

Celebrating their 7^th year as an idol group, Red Velvet has a meaningful Naver V Live broadcast, the same day as they have announced their upcoming sixth mini-album, “Queendom”.

After a week-long celebration for their anniversary, fans can say that Red Velvet are giving them much enough to fill the group’s long hiatus. From teasing Reveluvs with their old songs’ instrumentals accompanied by a seemingly new music video, and their “Psycho” act, the group unveils the release date and title track for their newest album.

Known for their summer bops, Red Velvet will be returning with their sixth mini-album, “Queendom” this August 16, music video drops at 6PM KST!

The group members have been doing solo and duo projects for a while, with SeulRene’s successful subunit with the song Monster last year and Yeri’s acting debut in Blue Birthday, the news of the 5-member girl group sharing the stage once again after a long wait made everyone excited.

A comeback has always been worth to celebrate, but with Red Velvet dropping the most important details in the same day as their anniversary, the group has surely played better this time.
