5 Seconds of Summer Are Back With ‘Complete Mess’

5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) is finally back for the first time in two years with their latest single, ‘Complete Mess’ on Wednesday (March 2).

The song tells the deep sadness that one faces after the loss of a loved one. In the music video that has been released, all of the members are seen in a desert and show an aesthetic visual. ‘Complete Mess’ is the first 5SOS single to be entirely written and produced by 5SOS members. Michael Clifford handled all the production for the single. He said in an interview with Dork that their new single feels authentic and ‘Complete Mess’ is the music they have wanted to make for a long time.

This Australian band consisting of bassist Calum Hood, drummer Ashton Irwin. Lead singer and rhythm guitarist Luke Hemmings. And guitarist Michael Clifford was formed in 2011. Since then, 5SOS has been actively uploading cover videos on the YouTube platform. And eventually receive a big break around that time as well.

Some of the hit songs that have been released by 5 Second Of Summer include “Youngblood”, “She Looks So Perfect”, “Easier”, “Who Do You Love”(featuring The Chainsmokers), “Lie to Me”, “Amnesia”, and “Ghost of You”.

Calm, the group’s most recent album, was released in March 2020. 5SOS will also be launching their world tour this summer. And the North American run of 5 Seconds of Summer’s 2022 World Tour; will begin on June 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia. And will end on July 24 in St. Louis, Missouri.
