The 2022 Billboard Music Awards will be held in less than a month!
On April 8 local time, Billboard released the full nominations list for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards via BBMAs official Twitter account, @BBMAs. In total, 62 nominations will be awarded on the awarding night that will be held on May 15 in MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas.
After announcing the Icon Award recipient on April 14, Billboard announced the first lineup of performers on April 19 via Twitter. Ten-time BBMAs winner and global superstar Mary J. Blige will be honored with this year’s BBMAs Icon Award.

Rauw Alejandro, Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Burna Boy, and Red Hot Chili Peppers are confirmed as the first line-up to perform at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
More performers, hosts, and recipients of this year’s Change Maker Award will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards will be aired on May 15, 2022, live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, only on NBC. BBMAs nominees and winners are based on key fan interaction with music, including streaming, album, and digital song sales, radio airplay, and touring data, tracked and provided by Billboard and its data partners, Luminate.
